MAKING IT is an original and quirky comedy following one man’s search for love, creative fulfilment and a pencil sharper. George Banbury is a thirty-three year old struggling actor best known for having appeared alongside a troll in a Wine Gums advert. Stuck in a rut and living with his parents, George is going nowhere fast. An unexpected pregnancy and a chance encounter with an ex-girlfriend sees George attempt to expose his inner leading man to a world that has already cast him as a supporting artiste.

We find notes from the Farrellys, Damon, Kinnear, Thomas, Wessler and special make-up designer Tony Gardner. The latter participant dominates the show as he lets us know about the design of the conjoined rig, the various challenges and its execution. We also learn about general issues and the way the actors related to each other.

Mo is a hopeful Arab actor in his struggle-filled youth, residing in London with his wife Dounya. Dounya believes Mo should pursue stable work rather than taping for leading acting roles, unattainable for actors of color. Unexpectedly, Mo's agent Steven rings, offering a sudden audition that carries life-altering potential. During his journey to the audition, a misunderstanding arises when a biased woman onboard misconstrues Mo's actions as prayer and suspects a forgotten bag. In a swift turn, Mo's world descends into a Kafkaesque nightmare of terror.

Several stories interweaves into this hilarious comedy. Eric Kot plays the genital dermatologist, Dr. Heung, that loves and respects his own profession. He and his assistant Ma work tacitly together professionally but are unable to take a step forward other than work. The up and coming artist Fifi Wong wants to make it big in her career, she later falls for the genteel To Bing at first sight although both of them already have their other important halves.
